J Woodward of Bluejay Atlantic

J Woodward is an audio and video storytelling professional bringing two decades of film, television, stage, radio and live event programming to the work of exploring the stories of our times.

His early career as an actor had an auspicious beginning starring opposite Emma Thompson in Mike Nichol’s film adaptation of Wit for HBO, he went on to later success dating an alien from work, covering up for a Senator, breaking up with Bettie Page, plotting the downfall of humankind as an evil minion, shipping himself to another planet in a box, providing unsolicited advice to a vampire slayer, dying in Vietnam, and selling fake fossils to Dick Van Dyke.

Woodward was an on-air host and producer at Maine Public Radio, earned his master’s degree in public media journalism from Fordham University as WFUV News Fellow, winning awards from the New York State Broadcasters Association and the national Mark of Excellence Award from the Society of Professional Journalists.
